That's why players are already gravitating toward one setup, and it's not subtle: the Judgment Paladin. If you're testing loadouts, swapping affixes, or just trying to figure out what's worth farming, even something as basic as Diablo 4 Items starts to matter because The Tower punishes every weak slot you've been ignoring. Why Judgment Feels Broken in the Best Way The core loop is simple, and that's part of why it works. You tag packs, you pop Judgment, and everything around you turns into damage numbers that don't look real. It's not one of those builds where you need a perfect storm of procs just to get going. You'll notice it early: even with "pretty good" gear, you're deleting waves before they spread out, which keeps your run clean and your pacing steady. Add Arbiter Form and the right Aspect package—Celestial Strife is the name everyone keeps repeating—and suddenly bosses stop feeling like bosses. People are already posting trillion-scale hits, and it isn't limited to streamer setups. The Hidden Win Is How Safe It Plays Raw DPS is great until you die once and the whole run falls apart. That's the Tower problem. A lot of top-end builds are basically glass cannons that demand perfect movement and perfect reads. Judgment Paladin isn't like that. You've got room to breathe. Mistakes don't instantly end the attempt, and that changes everything when the floors start stacking modifiers and elites begin chaining nasty overlaps. It also helps that the build doesn't have a weird split personality—some specs shred mobs but stall on single-target. Here, the same toolkit handles both, so you're not swapping your playstyle every time a boss door shows up. Where Other "S-Tier" Builds Still Come Up Short Other classes aren't dead on arrival. Spiritborn's Evade style is still one of the most fun ways to speed through lower tiers, and Shadowblight Necro can make the screen look like a fireworks show. Barbarian with Hammer of the Ancients and Rogue with Heartseeker can spike insanely hard too. The issue is consistency. In a mode that ramps pressure nonstop, those builds tend to rely on windows: a burst phase, a clean setup, a moment where everything lines up. The Paladin doesn't need that moment. It just keeps moving, keeps clearing, and keeps the timer under control, which is exactly what leaderboard pushes are built on. What I'd Roll If I Wanted to Climb If your goal is to push high floors without turning every run into a stress test, Judgment Paladin is the obvious call right now. It's fast enough to stay ahead of the clock, sturdy enough to survive the chaos, and flexible enough that you're not bricked if one drop refuses to show. You'll still want to tune your setup, of course, and keeping an eye on your upgrades and Diablo 4 materials makes the whole gearing loop less painful when you're iterating between attempts. |
